Job Description:
Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelors in Chemistry from HEC recognized institute having minimum 01 years of experience in working chemistry lab. (Fresh graduate can also apply).

Key Responsibilities:

• To strictly follow the health and safety guidelines within the lab

• Procurement of equipment/chemicals/glassware of UG Lab

• To ensure cleaning and proper placement of equipment/chemicals

• To make necessary arrangements before each practical

• To help instructor and students during lab practical performance

• To maintain the record of chemicals used within lab

• To maintain log book of instruments used in lab

• To maintain breakage record of glassware etc.

• To attend and help in all the departmental activities

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Safety Protocols

• Chemical Handling

• Laboratory Techniques

• Instrumentation

• Regulatory Standards

• Computer Skills

• Chemical Analysis

Terms & Conditions:

• Candidates are required to attach scanned copies of their documents (Academics / Professional).

• Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC.

Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:

• Weak academic profile / 3rd division in terminal degree (last degree).

• NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.

• In process of pursuing a required degree.

• Medically unfit.

• Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.

• Candidates serving in Govt departments, Armed forces may apply through their respective parent department / organizations. Late / incomplete applications will be ignored. Only short-listed candidates will be considered / called for test / interview and no TA / DA will be admissible.
