Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Lead Researcher / Data Specialist to help us build high-quality contact lists that align with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). In this role, you will focus on mining, curating, and verifying data for lead generation, ensuring the highest quality data to support our outreach efforts. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities and triggers that will prompt outreach to potential clients, ensuring timely and targeted communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Data Mining & List Building: Use various databases (e.g., LinkedIn, Amazon Seller Central) to build curated contact lists that match our ICP, ensuring we target the right decision-makers within businesses.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure all contact data is accurate and complete (valid emails, correct decision-maker names). Use verification tools like NeverBounce or ZeroBounce to protect sender reputation and minimize bounce rates.
  • Cross-Referencing & Hierarchy Search: Identify the legal business name from Amazon Seller profiles and cross-reference with tools like Apollo or LinkedIn Sales Navigator to find the right decision-makers (e.g., Founder, CEO, eCommerce Manager).
  • Identify Trigger Events: Utilize tools like Keepa and Helium 10 to track signals that indicate a business is in need of our services, such as stockouts, listing suppressions, or wasted ad spend. These events will serve as the basis for outreach.
    • Stockout Signal: Monitor changes in Amazon offer count and Best Seller Rank (BSR) to identify businesses that may be out of stock, which indicates a need for inventory planning or logistics solutions.
    • Suppression Alert: Identify ASINs that are suppressed or show 404 errors, signaling non-compliance or image issues, which can be a potential entry point for outreach.
    • Ad Waste Signal: Analyze a brand's paid keywords for inefficient spend or low Share of Voice, providing insight into brands that may benefit from better PPC strategies.
  • Market & Competitor Benchmarking: Use tools like SellerApp, DataHawk, and Keepa to compare pricing, reviews, and Buy Box status across competitor products and benchmark the performance of target brands.
  • PPC & SEO Pattern Analysis: Identify inefficiencies in competitors' paid search campaigns using tools like Helium 10, focusing on areas like branded keyword defense or misaligned ad spending.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with data mining, list building, and lead generation, particularly using tools like Apollo, ZoomInfo, SellerSprite, Helium 10, Keepa, and Jungle Scout.
  • Proficiency in using LinkedIn Sales Navigator for cross-referencing and identifying decision-makers within target companies.
  • Familiarity with scraping techniques and tools for data extraction from Amazon Seller Central, LinkedIn, and other relevant databases.
  • Experience using email verification tools like NeverBounce or ZeroBounce to maintain data quality.
  • Strong ability to identify and analyze trigger events (stockouts, suppression alerts, ad waste, etc.) that indicate potential opportunities for outreach.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to run competitive benchmarking and assess market trends using tools like SellerApp, DataHawk, or FlatFilePro.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of how to manage and organize large datasets.
  • Familiarity with PPC campaigns, SEO keyword ranking, and Search Share analysis for competitive intelligence.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a lead research or data specialist role, particularly in eCommerce, Amazon, or B2B environments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage data collection and research processes autonomously.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with sales and outreach teams effectively.
