Cogent Labs is looking for a Lead UI/UX Designer for Its Lahore office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of design for web and mobile platforms
  • Lead the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterate designs based on feedback
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to define requirements and implement design solutions
  • Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries
  • Create compelling 2D/3D assets, icons, and visual elements

Must-Haves

  • 6+ years of professional experience in UI/UX with a strong portfolio demonstrating impactful design projects
  • Strong product sense to understand the customer%u2019s problem
  • Ability to convert user requirements into sitemaps and low-fidelity prototypes
  • Proficiency in tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and similar platforms
  • Stay ahead of trends in UI/UX design, ensuring aesthetic relevance and market competitiveness
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
  • Ability to present and articulate design concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audiences

Good to Have

  • Familiarity with prototyping tools like InVision, Axure, or Proto.io
  • Understanding of front-end technologies and collaboration with development teams
  • Ability to design immersive AR/VR user experiences
  • Strong sense of aesthetics, creativity, and an eye for detail
  • Hands-on experience conducting user research, usability testing, and applying insights to refine designs
