Position Overview:
The Legal Client Success Representative (CSR) at Cedars Business Services serves as the primary point of contact for clients in matters related to legal actions for debt collection. This role involves obtaining Suit Authorization Forms, securing client approvals for Legal Demand Letters, and providing clients with regular updates on case progress. The Legal CSR works closely with LegalCase Managers and other departments to ensure effective and timely communication with clients, enhancing client satisfaction and ensuring smooth case management.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Interaction:
Reach out to clients to obtain Suit Authorization Forms necessary for initiating legal actions.
Secure client approvals for sending Legal Demand Letters, ensuring all necessary information is provided for informed decision-making.
Regularly correspond with clients to provide updates on the progress of their cases, including key milestones, settlements, or court actions.
Issue Resolution:
Address any questions or concerns raised by clients regarding their cases, providing clear and accurate information.
Escalate complex issues to the Legal Case Manager or relevant departments as needed, ensuring timely resolution.
File Review and Placement:
Review and assess debt collection files to determine their eligibility for legal action.
Identify appropriate partner attorney offices based on case specifics and ensure accurate placement of files for legal proceedings.
Ensure that all necessary documentation and information are included in the files before they are sent to attorneys.
Attorney Liaison:
Maintain regular communication with assigned attorney offices to monitor the progress of cases.
Follow up with attorneys to obtain updates on the status of legal actions, settlements, or judgments.
Address any issues or delays that may arise in the legal process, working to resolve them promptly
Coordination with Legal Case Managers and Other Departments:
Collaborate with Legal Case Managers to ensure that client communications are aligned with the status of legal proceedings.
Work with other departments, such as compliance, CSM and accounting, to gather any additional information required for client communication.
Participate in team meetings to discuss client concerns and coordinate efforts to enhance client satisfaction
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of all client interactions, including approvals, concerns, and case updates.
Prepare regular reports on client communication activities, highlighting any recurring issues or concerns.
Ensure all client communication is in compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
Skills:
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in using legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
