Legal CSR

Position Summary:

This position runs reports, retrieves necessary media through database, legal research and court document retrieval, while managing workflow and follow-up procedures to ensure projects meet deadlines. Must be flexible, have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and an understanding of reading and interpreting court dockets and docketing information within the court system. Must be comfortable collaborating with attorneys, legal professionals, drafting legal documents and making phone calls to Court Clerks and legal and financial professionals to retrieve and gather case information. Understanding of judgment and garnishment procedures and skip tracing is preferred. Must be flexible to assist in various projects and daily tasks to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain weekly follow ups ensuring projects are on schedule.

Conduct legal research and retrieve legal documents and case information from court and legal databases.

Contact Court Clerks and other legal professionals as needed to obtain information and request documents.

Comfortable handling of sensitive and confidential information.

Interpret court documents and maintain an organized portfolio system.

Proficiency in legal research and document analysis.

Understanding of judgment and garnishment procedures.

Familiarity with court systems in NY, VA, IL, CA, MO, NV, DE, UT and OH among other states.

Strong organizational skills with a focus on attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, legal databases, Skip Tracing, TLO

Ability to operate office equipment for scanning, shipping, and legal drafting of documents.

Schedule and conduct Notary signings

Qualification:

A law degree is a mandatory requirement to be eligible for this role.

Minimum 1.5 - 2 years of experience as a CSR.

Proficiency in document and data analysis, particularly in extracting and organizing large datasets from Excel and Google Sheets.
