Job Summary: The Management Trainee – People and Talent will support core People & Talent operations and take ownership of end-to-end HR, recruitment, and administrative activities. This role is ideal for someone organized, proactive, and passionate about people processes, with an interest in HR operations, recruitment, and cross-functional support.
Responsibilities:
HR Operations
- Draft, manage, and update employment contracts, experience letters, and relieving documents
- Maintain digital employee records and ensure accurate documentation of onboarding and exit formalities
- Oversee employee lifecycle management, including reminders for probation evaluations, confirmations, and exit timelines
- Manage HR platforms like BambooHR (employee data, PTOs, onboarding tasks, etc.)
- Create and deactivate official email accounts for new joiners and leavers
- Maintain and consolidate monthly HR dashboards and trackers
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Draft and post job descriptions on internal and external platforms
- Coordinate shortlisting, interview scheduling, and follow-ups
- Conduct initial screening calls, gather availability, and coordinate with hiring teams
- Manage application responses, consolidate freelancer and candidate profiles, and maintain CV trackers
- Share and follow up on Skill Assessments (TestGorilla, Google Forms, etc.) and manage candidate outcomes
- Ensure smooth freelancer onboarding and consolidation, maintaining relevant profiles for client sharing
Communication & Coordination
- Send regular email follow-ups to candidates and internal stakeholders
- Communicate effectively with potential hires, freelancers, and internal teams
- Coordinate reminders for due tasks, deadlines, and action items across the team
Payroll Support
- Keep track of hiring and exit dates for payroll accuracy
- Liaise with the Accounts team to ensure updated payroll inputs
- Maintain accurate record of leave balances and other payroll-impacting data
Cross-Functional Administrative Support
- Support in documentation and delivery for People & Culture initiatives
- Contribute to engagement activities, internal newsletters, and HR campaigns
- Assist in ad hoc reporting and operations-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Social Sciences, or related field
- 0–1 year of experience in HR, Talent Acquisition, or Admin roles preferred (internship or project-based work acceptable)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable with remote work tools like Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Gmail, Google Drive, Sheets, Docs, Zoom
- Bonus: Experience using BambooHR, TestGorilla, and ATS platforms
