Job Description
- Responsible and coordinate and direct activities such as: staff assistance with patient restraint and intervention in disruptions by patients, visitors and staff; traffic control; guard and patrol physical property; escort service for visitors and staff; monitor systems response; orient and monitor personnel working in high risk areas; and investigation of accidents and criminal acts.
- Responsible to implement security procedures and compliance with hospital policies and procedures and applicable laws.
- Responsible to review and evaluate reports prepared by security staff regarding investigations of reports criminal activities and present to immediate HOD.
- Conduct follow-up investigation of reports of criminal activity in according with system.
- Responsible to analyze traffic and parking problems, control and make recommendations for new or revised programs, policies and procedures.
- Manage and maintain all records and documentation involving day to day campus as well as outreach safety & security.
- Responsible to resolve patient / patient visitors / staff problems and needs by utilizing multi-disciplinary team strategies.
- Participate in HOD meetings as directed by immediate HOD.
- Responsible to ensure staff monthly duty roster is developed and approved by immediate HOD.
- Supervise security personnel, participate in the interviewing and selection of applicants for employment, review employee performance recommend promotion and salary adjustment, and apply hospital and personnel policy to daily operations in consultation with immediate HOD.
