Manager Audit, Information Security & Privacy

Responsible for analyzing and assessing FCEPL’s technological infrastructure (data integrity, security, development and IT governance) to ensure processes and systems run accurately and efficiently, while remaining secure and meeting compliance regulations. Perform IT audits including technological innovation, systems and applications, information processing facilities, management of IT and enterprise architecture, client, server, telecommunications, intranets and extranets, etc.

• CA/ ACCA/ CISA

Vacancy Description

• Primarily responsible for planning, conducting and reporting on IS related audit activities related to FCEPL under the guidance of the GM Internal Audit. This position is an important audit interface for providing advisory services related to IS.
• Provide reasonable assurance to management by organizing regular audits that the requirements of the System of Internal Control (IS and Processes) and relevant company policies and procedures are being complied with and recommend corrective measures in areas of non-compliance.
• Participate in investigations as and when required as advised by GM Internal Audit.
• Improve IS internal controls and protection of Company’s assets by analyzing existing as well as new procedures, practices, contracts, and occurrences including losses, thefts, defalcation, and making recommendations based on findings. Provide guidance to management on matters pertaining to internal control.
• Perform general and application control reviews for simple to complex computer information systems.
• Perform information control reviews to include system development standards, operating procedures, system security, programming controls, communication controls, backup and disaster recovery, and system maintenance
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing security measures, such as firewalls, password policies and intrusion-detection systems. Make recommendations to improve security based on their assessments and knowledge of current and emerging threats
