About US Mobile
US Mobile is on a mission to revolutionize connectivity. Imagine a world where you can go into a single app and buy terabytes of data for every one of your devices: phone, smart devices, car, home broadband, and more. That’s the future that US Mobile is building: a software platform built truly for the 21st century and the age of 5G and IoT, with world class engineering, best-in-class user experience, and features that will define the next generation of connectivity for customers in the US.
At the core of it all, our people are the driving force behind our success. We’re one collaborative, driven, and empowered team on a mission to build a product that makes the lives of our customers easier
About the Role
As the Manager, People Operations, you’ll shape the employee experience end-to-end — from how we onboard and grow our people, to how we engage, reward, and retain them
This role is both strategic and hands-on. You’ll design and lead people-first processes that make every employee’s journey seamless, while ensuring operational excellence across payroll, performance management, and compliance. You’ll be the culture architect who builds belonging, empowers growth, and ensures every team member feels seen, supported, and inspired
Key Responsibilities
Own the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, confirmations, promotions, transfers, and exits — ensuring every moment feels intentional and seamless
Lead payroll operations: run monthly payroll with precision, timeliness, and full compliance with local regulations
Drive engagement & culture: create initiatives that strengthen morale, connection, and a sense of belonging across teams
Design retention & recognition programs: build systems that celebrate impact, promote growth, and keep our best people thriving
Oversee performance management: coordinate reviews, calibrations, and feedback cycles that drive clarity, accountability, and career development
Champion well-being & growth: partner with leadership to roll out programs that support mental health, continuous learning, and professional development
Handle employee relations: resolve conflicts with empathy, ensure fairness, and maintain trust in our culture
Ensure compliance & governance: stay ahead of labor laws, tax changes, and HR policies to keep operations risk-free and future-ready
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
3+ years of experience in People Operations or HR, with strong exposure to payroll, engagement, and compliance
Proven ability to design and execute employee engagement and retention strategies that move the needle
Strong understanding of labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll systems in Pakistan
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — you can earn trust and influence across all levels
A bias for action — you’re detail-oriented, data-driven, and thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments
Why You’ll Love Working Here
Work with an award-winning global team shaping the future of connectivity
Be part of a culture that values transparency, autonomy, and real human connection
Lead initiatives that have a visible impact on employee happiness and retention
Opportunities for global exposure and cross-functional collaboration Join USM to help shape an organization that values people at its core If you’re passionate about People Strategy and excited about making a meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you!
