Manager Plant Process

Purpose of the Role:

To ensure smooth execution of the Monthly Production Schedule by optimizing plant processes, enhancing coordination between production and maintenance, and driving operational efficiency. The role focuses on improving OEE, ensuring uptime of electrical and control systems, implementing cost and energy reduction strategies, and sustaining productivity through TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.

Principle Accountabilities:

• Support and execute MPS (Monthly Production Schedule) as per Supply Planning requirement and deliver the targets in coordination with the Head of Plant.
• Tracking planning vs production targets to mitigate bottle necks and improve through data analytics & Plant OEE.
• Implementation of central and local strategies to optimize Plant Productivity by enhancing effective coordination between Production & Maintenance.
• Conformance of corrective maintenance for Electrical & Electronics equipment and ensure smooth operations with maximum available time for all production machines.
• Maintain inventory of control systems within the company, including hardware & software.
• Execute Continuous Improvement Projects from a business standpoint.
• Track & Manage Department Budget & devise strategies for cost and energy reduction in coordination with the stakeholders.
• Oversee the responsibilities related to TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Certifications in TPM, Lean Six Sigma, or related continuous improvement methodologies (preferred).
• 6-8 years of relevant experience in plant operations, production planning, or process optimization.
• Hands-on experience in managing electrical and control systems within a manufacturing or industrial plant environment.
• Proven track record of executing continuous improvement or cost-saving initiatives.

Competencies:

• Proficient in data analytics and OEE tracking to drive productivity.
• Budget tracking and cost control capabilities.
• Sound knowledge of electrical and control systems (hardware and software).
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with TPM tools and methodologies.
