Manager Product Sourcing

Company Overview

Our Client, a leading Energy organization, seeks to appoint experienced professionals for the following role:

The position of Manager Procurement will report to Head of Project Management and will be responsible for playing a critical role in ensuring the efficient sourcing of materials, equipment, and services for our renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementation of the procurement strategy for the company's renewable energy projects
• Responsible for sourcing materials, equipment and services from vendors both locally and internationally, negotiating favourable terms and conditions
• Experienced in drafting and negotiating contracts projects
• Build RFI/RFQs online through e-Tendering tool in consultation with project execution and technical team
• Ability to evaluate RFQ responses on a Total Cost of Ownership basis to ensure the selection of the most appropriate suppliers
• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability
• Oversee procurement processes, from request to purchase, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
• Collaborate with project management and technical teams to identify procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of materials
• Monitor procurement costs, track budget expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost savings
• Actively monitor and mitigate supplier risk including financial, capacity, quality, and compliance
  
  
  

Education

• Minimum 16 years of education preferably masters from a renowned HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder preferably in Engineering, Management, Business Administration and / or any relevant field.
  
  
  

Experience

• Minimum 6-7 years of professional experience preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 2-5 years of related functional experience in a similar role at an equivalent position or in one level below position.

Age
