Position: MEP Estimation Head

Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent

Working Hours:

• Summer: 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM
• Winter: 7:00 PM – 4:00 AM

Location: DHA Phase 8, Lahore

Compensation: Up to PKR 200,000 (based on experience)

We are a Houston, Texas-based General Contractor specializing in commercial construction projects across the U.S. We are looking for a highly skilled MEP Estimation Head to lead our Estimation team, ensuring accurate, timely, and competitive cost assessments for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for MEP systems including HVAC, fire protection, water supply, drainage, gas piping, and electrical works (wiring, switchgear, conduits, panels, cabling, and lighting systems).
• Oversee quantity take-offs and prepare cost breakdowns for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants to gather pricing and technical data.
• Develop and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to ensure accuracy and compliance with client and company standards.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior estimators, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and procurement teams for budgeting, proposals, and tender submissions.
• Analyze project drawings, identify risks, and recommend value engineering opportunities.
• Stay updated on market pricing, codes, and industry trends to ensure competitive bids.
• Contribute to cost optimization and risk management strategies at the organizational level.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in MEP estimation (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) within construction or contracting companies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical preferred).
• Strong understanding of US-based estimation standards (preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and estimation tools (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
