Job Summary:
As a Mortgage Banker, you will be responsible for originating and closing mortgage loans, working with customers to understand their financial goals and providing personalized mortgage solutions. You will also build relationships with realtors, financial advisors, and other referral sources to generate new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Originate and close mortgage loans, including conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loans.
2. Work with customers to understand their financial goals and provide personalized mortgage solutions.
3. Analyze customer financial data, credit reports, and other relevant information to determine mortgage eligibility.
4. Present mortgage options and recommendations to customers, and guide them through the loan application and approval process.
5. Build relationships with realtors, financial advisors, and other referral sources to generate new business opportunities.
6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and company policies.
7. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Requirements:
1. 2+ years of experience in mortgage banking or a related field.
2. Strong knowledge of mortgage products, including conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loans.
3. Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
Licenses and Certifications:
