The Opportunity

As a .NET Developer, you'll contribute to designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver healthcare technology solutions, ensure adherence to coding standards, and continuously optimize performance, security, and maintainability. This role is hands-on with opportunities to work across backend services, integrations, and modern DevOps practices.

What You'll Do

• Develop, test, and maintain robust web applications and APIs using .NET Core / ASP.NET.
• Design and optimize relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar) for scalability and reliability.
• Integrate with internal and third-party services, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange.
• Apply best practices in coding standards, testing, CI/CD, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to understand requirements and deliver business-critical features.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and uphold high-quality engineering practices.
• Contribute to technical documentation, design discussions, and architectural improvements.
• Investigate issues, debug production problems, and propose effective solutions.

Background & Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using .NET technologies.
• Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and RESTful API development.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with version control and CI/CD (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
• Exposure to frontend technologies (Angular/React) is a plus.
• Healthcare system experience (EHR/EMR, HL7/FHIR) is a strong plus.
