About The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled NOC Engineer to join our IT operations team. This is a full-time, onsite position based at our Head Office in Khayaban-e-Amin, Lahore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the health and performance of critical IT systems and networks, ensuring 24/7 service continuity and fast incident response.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor network and infrastructure systems, including servers, routers, switches, and applications
• Respond to alerts and incidents, investigate root causes, and perform first-level troubleshooting
• Escalate critical issues to appropriate teams based on severity and impact
• Maintain accurate logs of incidents, actions taken, and system performance metrics
• Coordinate scheduled maintenance and upgrades with minimal disruption to services
• Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance on network and server equipment
• Work closely with system administrators, network engineers, and security teams to ensure system uptime
• Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and update runbooks
• Support backup and disaster recovery operations
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and service-level agreements (SLAs)
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• 13 years of experience in NOC, IT operations, or network/system monitoring roles
• Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP)
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Nagios, PRTG, or SolarWinds
• Familiarity with ticketing and ITSM platforms like Jira Service Desk or ManageEngine
• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows Server environments
• Ability to diagnose and escalate issues quickly under pressure
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Willingness to work in shifts, including nights and weekends as needed
• Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or ITIL Foundation are a plus
