Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have 6-9 years of experience in operation management, with a strong communication and stakeholder management skills, crucial for this role. This position involves overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of software projects, ensuring they meet time and budget constraints.
Job Description:
The Operations Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Karachi office and the field survey teams, managing all administrative functions. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, optimizing processes, and ensuring that all activities align with the company's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a proven track record in managing Office and Field operations.
Following are few of the major responsibilities of this role:
- Ensuring all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
- Improving operational management systems, processes and best practices.
- Management and purchasing of misc. office supplies/services.
- Facilities Management, R&M and upkeep of office space in all respects.
- Efficient Budget management.
- Stakeholder Communication
- Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
- Recruit, train and supervise staff
- Vendor Management
- Provision of continuous operations support to sales/marketing teams to achieve desired results.
Experience:
The ideal candidate will have 6-9 years of experience in operation management, with a proven track record of successful delivery. This position is based in Karachi and requires immediate availability.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the survey industry or a related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in project management and process optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., project management software, data analysis tools).
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and manage challenging priorities effectively
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with resource allocation and management, especially in survey team monitoring
- Ability to ensure project quality standards are met by effectively setting up an M&E.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends
Education/Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Surveying, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
