Business, Clients and Learners
- Understand the country HR & Business strategies, and the overall Learning strategy.
- Create linkages amongst the strategies and make an operating Learning plan for the country.
- Engages with clients, learners & key members of HR & CMT in country to accelerate the Learning agenda in a structured manner.
- Understands the country needs and can match them to group offerings as far as possible
- Demonstrates knowledge of what would build people capability and augment programs with interventions that enable capability development.
- Engages in performance consulting conversations with business at apt levels, using appropriate channels to identify learning and performance needs and provide optimal solutions.
- Create a process of effective pre and post learning engagement to promote, sustainability and effectively review the impact of learning interventions.
- Drives Learning culture including self-learning in the markets supported through creative means and pulls learners to learning offerings effectively
- Promotes and cascades the use of Learning technology to enhance Learning experience
- Champion the concept and practice of People Manager Coaching with leaders at all levels.
- Share best practice insights with other Country / Region Heads through Community of Practice.
- Understands what good Learning design looks like. Is aware of latest trends in Learning.
- Continuously scanning the market practices or researching about effective learning tools.
- Collaborates with facilitators and People Capability Heads to ensure that content development is in line with business needs and meets the needs of the customer and the learner in local environments.
- Regular reviews of training content. Annual review and online / real time reviews as required or as per policy.
People and Talent
- Drive strong performance culture & improve efficiency/productivity levels.
- Upskilling and re-skilling people to prepare a future ready workforce.
- Liaison with HRBPs to identify talent and form high performance pool to create career pathways for staff and assist in making their growth plans.
- Be a professional coach to all staff. Enhancing the people capabilities & quality of management and leadership within the network by continuously upgrading management competences.
- Collaborate with the Group team to curate business solutions, maintaining both structured and informal communication networks with the Group team as appropriate.
- Maintain active involvement in relevant Group projects like SABA cloud, on-boarding processes, Line Trainer Certification, Right Start Live – Online, D1R.
- Working closely with the Learning Head to fulfil the Learning Agenda.
- Collecting feedback on various training programs and highlighting trends emerging from the feedback received.
- Provide ground level feedback from learners & business stakeholders to the Group Team.
- Working and sharing best practices with other facilitators in team.
- Adherence to laws and regulations, internal risk and compliance policies and the Group Code of Conduct
- Proactive identification and reporting of risks and concerns
- Mitigation of risks and resolution of issues in a timely manner including developing suitable controls and measuring their effectiveness
- Prompt and decisive action when any risk and compliance weaknesses become apparent, addressing them in an appropriate timeframe, escalating where necessary.
- Timely completion of all mandatory risk and compliance training, including e-learning by the set deadlines
- Embed the principles of Governance and Group Learning Framework, ensuring full compliance with all relevant regulatory Group and local guidelines.
- Ensure that the team is audit ready. All audits and compliance reviews to be cleared.
- Supports in managing all regulatory bodies in country on Learning Requirement with the Head of People capability and HR
- Aligns the country learning intervention/ activity as per regulatory or government requirement
- Maintains all records for any compliance / regulation related certification.
- Proper tracking and record keeping of all the trainings.
- Archival of data/ record as per Bank’s policies.
- Ensure all data management is completed promptly and accurately filed
- Be prudent to control cost within allocated budget
- Effectively manage any maintenance and housekeeping issues of Learning Academy in liaison with respective admin team and vendors.
