Principal Test Engineer- Automation + Manual

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Principal Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software projects through both automation and manual testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of test engineers, providing guidance and mentoring to ensure high-quality testing practices
• Develop and implement automated test scripts for both web and mobile applications
• Conduct manual testing to identify bugs, defects, and other issues
• Create and execute test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of software features and functionality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot issues, and provide recommendations for improvements
• Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and strategies
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new testing technologies to enhance the overall testing process
• Communicate test results and progress to stakeholders, including project managers and developers
• Provide technical support and assistance to team members as needed
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in a team lead role.
• Strong knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Appium, Cucumber)
• Proficient in manual testing techniques and methodologies
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Detail-oriented and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Experience with performance and security testing is a plus
