About the Product:

SkyCrunch is a new venture of Formulatrix which provides advanced trip planning solutions for the aviation industry. Our intuitive, map-based interface enables pilots, operators, and other aviation professionals to easily review fuel and Fixed Base Operator (FBO) costs at potential refueling stops. By entering basic flight details, users receive real-time cost estimates across multiple airports, allowing for visual comparison and more informed, cost-effective Decision-making. The platform is built to serve a broad range of users – including pilots, operations staff, aircraft owners, and anyone involved in flight planning. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to lead the SkyCrunch product. The Product Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the operation and driving the business to profitability.



Responsibilities:

  1. Define the software requirements and user experience necessary to support all stakeholders’ needs.
  2. Manage the roadmap for Skycrunch and lead the development team to deliver the product. Become the voice of the user (pilots, aircraft owners, operations staff), develop empathy for their pain points and drive the product to meet their needs.
  3. Determine the best revenue model for the business, plan budgets, and drive the business to profitability.
  4. Lead the marketing and sales efforts, including a team, to recruit and manage FBOs and fuel providers across 5,000 airports globally. Develop positive relationships with data providers to ensure all cost data remains up-to-date.
  5. Lead the outreach and the onboarding strategy for users. Should be comfortable with presenting the product and tailoring the pitch to suit different audiences.
  6. Identify important data points and sources to enhance user experience. Oversee the data entry team to manage FBO data, airport data, permit requirements, PPR etc.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in either software development, IT, or business administration.
  • Strong understanding of databases and algorithms.
  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • In-depth knowledge of web-based technologies and software development project management.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
