• 16 years of qualification, BS in Information Technology and related fields from a HEC-recognized institution.

• Minimum 0 to I year of experience in data acquisition, processing, analysis, troubleshooting. and database management.

The Project Officer will play a role in ensuring the effective operation, maintenance, and data

management of the BAM 1020 Air Quality Monitoring Station, installed at Secretariat. The key

responsibilities include:

• BAM Maintenance and Repair:

• Able to understand and operate air quality monitoring stations/sensors.
• Understanding of the issues related to IT, mechanical and electronic processes.
• Coordinate with vendors for regular maintenance, repairs, and servicing of the BAM 1020.
• Oversee technical tasks to ensure the BAM functions efficiently and remains operational at all times.

• Data Management and Reporting:

• Fetch, process, and validate daily air quality data from the BAM 1020.
• Prepare and generate PM2.5 concentration and AQI charts.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting to relevant stakeholders.

• Troubleshooting and Support:

• Address operational issues to prevent data interruptions.
• Provide technical support for the resolution of hardware or software issues related to the BAM.

• field Survey and Hotspots Assessment:

• Conduct field surveys to identify and assess pollution hotspots, especially when air quality readings are elevated.
• Investigate potential emission sources and compile actionable insights.

• Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically in MS Excel, CSV and software dealing with data extraction and analysis.
• Proficiency in data collection, validation, and analysis. Ability to create visualizations such as charts and reports for decision-making.
• Strong understanding of hardware and software troubleshooting, particularly in systems related to monitoring equipment.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors for equipment maintenance and support.
• Strong analytical skills to address operational issues and ensure the smooth functioning of the BAM 1020.
• Willingness to conduct on-ground assessments of pollution sources and prepare field reports.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for reporting and coordination with stakeholders.
• Ensure proper organization and retention of applicable documents.
• Should be collaborative and result-oriented.
