Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manual Quality Assurance (QA) Software Tester with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic QA team. The candidate will be responsible for executing test plans, identifying bugs, and ensuring the quality of software products across web and mobile applications. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to deliver high-quality software that meets user expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze system specifications and requirements
  • Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications
  • Identify, document, and track defects, errors, and inconsistencies in bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) on web and mobile platforms
  • Collaborate with developers to understand system architecture and fix issues
  • Validate fixes and ensure they resolve the reported defects
  • Conduct impact analysis to ensure new changes do not negatively affect existing functionality
  • Test the usability, responsiveness, and performance of applications across multiple browsers and devices
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and provide feedback in sprint planning and retrospectives
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and best practices in software testing
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless coordination and issue resolution

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 2 years of experience in manual software testing or QA
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
  • Familiarity with testing techniques and types (functional, regression, integration, system
  • testing)
  • Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude
  • Knowledge of mobile app testing on iOS and Android is a plus
  • Experience with basic SQL queries and API testing is mandatory.
