QA Engineer (RWP)

Responsibilities:

• Test Planning and Design:
• Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and create detailed test plans and strategies.
• Design and develop comprehensive test cases covering functional, non-functional, and integration testing.
• Prioritize test cases based on risk assessment and business impact.
• Test Execution:
• Execute test cases manually and using automation tools.
• Log and track defects in a bug tracking system, providing clear and concise descriptions and steps to reproduce.
• Retest defects after fixes to ensure they have been resolved.
• Test Automation:
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Automate test cases to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Create and maintain automated test suites for regression testing.
• Performance Testing:
• Conduct performance testing to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
• Analyze performance metrics and generate reports to identify areas for improvement.
• Security Testing:
• Perform security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure the security of the application.
• Collaborate with security teams to address security issues.
• Defect Tracking and Reporting:
• Accurately track and report defects using a bug tracking system.
• Provide clear and concise defect reports, including steps to reproduce and expected behavior.
• Work closely with development teams to resolve defects efficiently.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.
• Proactively identify areas for process improvement and suggest innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with the team to improve the overall quality assurance process.

Requirements:

• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Familiarity with security testing concepts and tools.
