Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, implementing, and executing automated tests. The role will also involve manual testing activities to complement the automation efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, develop comprehensive test plans, and test cases.
• Execute automated and manual test cases to identify defects, verify fixes, and ensure overall product quality.
• Participate in the identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.
• Perform regression testing to validate software changes and ensure backward compatibility.
• Document test results and communicate findings to the development team and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to software quality assurance and automation testing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, Swagger, Selenium).
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience with testing web applications, APIs, and databases.
• Familiarity with Microsoft .NET technologies and MySQL database management.
• Good to have proficiency in programming languages such as C# for test automation scripting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
