Key Responsibilities


  • Quality Strategy & Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain QA policies, procedures, and systems to align with Johnny and Jugnu’s operational goals and regulatory standards.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of QA inspectors, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to maintain and improve quality standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local and federal food safety regulations, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and other industry-specific standards.
  • Audits & Inspections: Conduct routine audits and inspections across our restaurant locations, food preparation areas, and storage facilities to ensure strict adherence to quality protocols. Identify gaps and implement corrective action plans.
  • Quality Control: Oversee the quality control process for incoming ingredients, finished products, and equipment to ensure consistency and safety.
  • Supplier & Raw Material Quality: Work with the supply chain team to monitor and improve supplier operations, ensuring that raw materials meet the required standards.
  • Training & Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs on food safety, quality assurance practices, and company standards for all relevant employees.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying quality issues, analyzing root causes, and implementing preventive measures to enhance overall performance.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with restaurant managers and staff to address quality concerns and promote best practices across all locations.
  • Record Management & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions. Provide regular reports on quality performance to senior management.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Experience: 8–10 years of experience in quality assurance or food safety within the restaurant or QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience managing multi-unit operations is a plus.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as FSSC, HACCP, or SQF (Safe Quality Food) are highly desirable.
