Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Analyst who excels in both manual and automation testing methodologies. The ideal candidate should possess strong Java and Selenium experience.

This is a Contract role based on site working 5 days a week from our Lahore office.

• Write test automation scripts using Java and Selenium
• Independent preparation and execution of test cases and test plans
• Produce test automation reports
• Take ownership of application quality
• Analyse test results including troubleshooting and problem determination
• Log issues and confirm resolution
• Critically review business requirements and functional specifications
• Provide estimates for test planning and execution
• Assist in determining whether release criteria have been met
• Keep up to date with test methodologies and utilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience (5 years) as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and Java including building a test framework e.g. using TestNG and Maven
• Hands-on experience with Object Oriented Programming
• Automation using Postman, Bruno or equivalent
• Experience with performance testing
• Hands-on experience experience with git
• You are proficient in using Jira and Confluence
• You have a basic understanding of SQL databases
• Experience working on Web Application and API testing
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• You are proactive and take ownership for the quality of the product with little supervision
• Ability to work within given timeframes and deadlines both at an individual and team level
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in Salesforce.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE are a plus.
