Quality Control Executive

Job Purpose:

To perform analytical testing of Raw materials, semi-finished, finished products as per NFL specifications to maintain the quality standards and to comply with ISO requirements, to look after maintenance and calibration of all the equipment and ensuring them in good order and working condition through preventive and corrective actions.

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct testing and analysis of inspected Raw materials to determine usage.

• Check physical attributes of samples prior to logging of samples in control logbook.
• Conduct tests to analyze quality of material as per NFL standard and maintain test results in control logbook.
• Share test reports and discuss non-conformity with line manager to finalize usage decision
• Perform release/rejection in SAP as per final usage decision (Tcode:QA32)

Conduct analysis of semi finished materials to determine and maintain quality standards

• Check physical attributes of sample prior to logging of sample in control logbook.
• Perform chemical testing of samples as per NFL standard and maintain results in control logbook.
• Share test reports and discuss non-conformity with line manager to finalize usage decision to validate the non-conformity level and forward the samples with test results to R&D for sensory evaluation
• Perform release/rejection in SAP as per final usage decision (Tcode:QA32)

Conduct testing and maintain results of finished products to determine and maintain quality standards

• Resample and test to conform results in case results are out of specification
• Report to the line manager for decision making if the results are still out of specification
• Maintain test results in a log sheet

Perform verification of calibration of lab instruments and monitor Lab environmental conditions

• Select instruments one by one for verification
• Verify instruments according to their related SOPs
• Maintain the verification results in control log sheet
• Monitor lab environmental conditions twice in a day
• Maintain the monitoring results in control log sheet

Monitor Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Quality Management System (QMS) & OSHAS to maintain the quality Standard.

• Prepare & update SOPs for GLP to maintain the standard & to achieve future goal of accreditation of ISO-17025
• Maintain GMP for lab by supervising the activities
• Monitor critically & inspect the issues mentioned in Risk Assessment for OHSAS for Lab activity
• Monitor critically & Dispose off the Hazardous chemicals to contribute in healthy environment.
• Maintain and revise documents and SOP as per QMS Requirement

Perform projects/Trials to improve quality, process or to save cost

• Participate in projects/Trials and perform detailed analysis to evaluate test results.
• Prepare a report along with suggestion/findings for improvement.
• Circulate report to all concern persons.

Reduce the lead time of Releasing as per Business need.

• Check physical attributes of sample prior to logging of sample in control logbook
• Plan to test material as quickly as possible
• Conduct chemical tests to analyze chemical attributes as per NFL standard maintain results in control logbook
• Share test reports and discuss non-conformity with line manager to finalize usage decision perform release/rejection in SAP as per final usage decision within 2 to 3 days (Tcode:QA32)

Background Requirements:

Education: M.Sc. / BE (Chemistry, Applied Chemistry or Food Science)

Experience: 1 to 2 years of working experience in QC Lab.
