Job Purpose:

To lead and motivate the regional Sales team to achieve the agreed-upon sales targets for the allocated region and to build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, customers, and retailers

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of sales strategies in accordance with NFL’s revenue targets for the allocated region
  • Work closely with the Sales team to ensure the regional revenue targets are cascaded and achieved through the zonal and territory Sales teams
  • Establish a robust mechanism to track, monitor, and report on performance of the team to ensure targets are met
  • Work closely with the Sales Support and Marketing teams to develop, review, and approve the route-to-market strategies for the allocated region
  • Develop the regional sales budget and regularly track, monitor, and report on actual spend vs. budget with details of any variances
  • Identify, pursue, and build robust business relationships with channel partners, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers across the allocated region
  • Identify and expand NFL’s presence in underserved markets within the region using market intelligence from the Regional Sales and Marketing teams
  • Lead negotiations with distributors on pricing and terms of sales agreements and finalise sales contracts
  • Work closely with the Marketing and QIRD teams to review and analyse the performance metrics such as advertising and customer retention of new and existing product categories
  • Conduct regular reviews with the Zonal Sales Managers to track and monitor performance of the wider Sales team against the allocated targets and address any performance issues in a timely manner
  • Provide training, guidance, and oversight to the regional Sales team to ensure they operate in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures
    Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor performance, and evolving consumer preferences
  • Prepare and submit regular management sales reports for the allocated region

Experience: 10-12 years of relevant experience.
