DigitalTolk is an organization and company that works to make an impact. Our purpose is to give a voice to those who don’t speak the local language; we arrange translators so that patients can get medical treatments in their new country and communicate with doctors. We arrange translators for crime victims so that they can get justice. Our job is to arrange interpreters through our platform for our customers.

Our end customers are hospitals, courts/lawyers, and municipalities who communicate with refugees and other people in need.

Job Description:

  • Design, build, and maintain a robust React Native mobile app for both Android and iOS.
  • Develop and enhance customer-facing web interfaces using React.js (or equivalent).
  • Own the entire app release cycle: submission, versioning, and hotfixes.
  • Monitor application performance and health using tools like Sentry or Firebase Crashlytics.
  • Identify, debug, and resolve critical issues swiftly.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to implement features end-to-end.
  • Ensure fast and safe deployments through CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. A master’s degree is a plus.

Requirements :

  • Experience: 4+ years of working experience
  • Published apps on both the App Store and Google Play with hands-on release experience.
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, and modern frontend tooling.
  • Proficient in crash monitoring, performance optimization, and debugging tools.
  • Experience with mobile CI/CD tools like Bitrise, Fastlane, or App Center.
  • Deep understanding of state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Context API).
  • Solid experience working with RESTful APIs and backend integration.
  • Proficiency with Git and platforms like GitHub/GitLab.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in remote teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
