Job Description – Research Manager :

• Manage and mentor knowledge unit team, and build the capacity of the team through training of technical software

• Oversee the research activities of Urban Impact Lab unit (UIL), andhiring of the UIL team lead

• Reviewing the research analysis andknowledge products

• Forming research strategies and ideas for the knowledge unit and UIL,execution of the existing research design and projects

• Assisting EARTS in data management and quantitative analysis

• Conduct and supervise research for the Knowledge unit

• Manage collaboration tasks of Knowledge Unit

• Collaboration with AKU and IHME

• Collaboration with the MoNHSRC

• Collaboration with private stakeholder

• Collaboration with academia

• Data quality reviews for the data acquired from the Ministry and other sources

• Produces strong analytical and research base for the company to initiate collaborations on recent avenues with the private sector, to conduct research and provide evidence to the policy makers

• Review the trainings manuals and content for the Ministry officials and other stakeholders

• Supervise all activities of the academia collaboration which include internship program, guest lectures and research collaborations with faculty members

• Supervise all activities of the fellowship program

• Provide weekly reviews on the work of the research fellows

• Assisting RADS/AHK-F with data management queries and processes

• Year-end performance reviews

• Preparing annual narrative reports for the BMGF grant

• Helping organization with building new structures and reforming old structures to improve efficiency of work and ensure good environment within team
