This is a grant-funded contractual position
Responsibilities
You will be responsible to supervise project activities related to field and data management to ensure quality control, while maintaining good working relationship with staff, community and various stakeholders involved. Specific responsibilities include to:
- develop high quality research proposals for funding, conduct research and contribute in publications
- ensure proper identification and registration of patients as per study protocols
- supervise and monitor domiciliary visits monitor and report on the disease surveillance
- provide training to the study staff as per the protocols and guidelines of study
- ensure the completeness, proper filing and archiving of the Case Report Files (CRFs)and ensure that the double entry is done for data entry
- prepare draft reports,summaries, section of manuscripts,and abstracts of research findings
- prepare and compile periodic study progress reports and present the study results as per the requirements
- search for relevant literature to become proficient in knowledge of specific areas, including important research, theoretical base, findings and domains
- adhere to data security protocols for data storage, management and analysis
- actively coordinate with on-site and off-site colleagues, partners and communities
- prepare interpretations of data, such as sequences, graphs, charts, illustrations, tables, slides, statistical summaries etc.
Requirements
You should have:
- a Master’s degree in Anthropology, Sociology, Epidemiology & Biostatistics, Health Policy & Management, Public Health or Healthcare Management
- at least three years of experience in conducting training on research, data collection techniques and anthropometry
- excellent organization skills and self-motivated
- excellent interpersonal skills, particularly communication skills
- excellent skills on proven mixed research methods
- ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently
- integrity and strong research ethics
- proficiency in the use of computers, particularly in MS Office package
- willingness to work in community setting and travel as per work requirements.
