Retail Estate and Facility Manager

About The Opportunity

• Manage real estate, facilities, asset maintenance, issue management, and performance KPIs for the local market.
• Oversee building and facilities maintenance, asset management, and audits of 3rd-party maintenance contracts.
• Manage the launch, relocation, and closure of dark stores, including site scouting, execution, and handover.
• Supervise contractors on budgets, specialties, and project execution; conduct site visits to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Handle and maintain permits, licenses, and municipal approvals in the system; ensure compliance with zoning, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Plan and manage repair and maintenance schedules; maintain strong relationships with service providers to ensure cost-effective and prompt issue resolution.
• Identify and assess potential sites for stores and warehouses to meet operational requirements.
• Negotiate leases and contracts for cost-effectiveness and alignment with company goals.
• Oversee acquisition, maintenance, upgrades, and decommissioning of assets.
• Develop and execute preventive/corrective maintenance schedules for all facilities and equipment.
• Manage budgets for purchases, repairs, and maintenance, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements; prepare financial and operational reports on asset performance.
• Identify process improvements, stay updated on industry trends, and adopt advancements in facility management technologies.
  
  

What You Need To Be Successful

• Candidate must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Business/Commerce would be preferred
• Must have 3 to 5 years of experience in real estate and facility management
• Proficient with Google Workplace
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
