The opportunity


The Central Risk Management team supports EY partners and staff in the execution of, and compliance with, Global, Regional, and local risk management policies and procedures, including financial crime, data protection and the development, maintenance, communication and training of key RM policies, providing advice on complex risk matters and monitoring the application of these policies.


There is an opening within the Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) sub-team for a Senior Risk Analyst. The main purpose of the role is to ensure the firm’s compliance with applicable internal and external policies/ legislation by performing review of Engagement Letters/SoW/MSA and providing confirmation to leadership that the agreements are matching with EY system recorded information.


Your key responsibilities


You will, as a Risk Analyst, be a key part of the bigger risk management team, performing review of documents in risk management tool (GEAR) with enhanced due diligence of potential deviation of EY policy and guidance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform risk-based document review and compliance in accordance with EY policy and procedure.
  • Work closely with risk management team and business to discuss in formal and informal environments to support 100% compliance of EY policy and procedure
  • Encourage and educate client facing staff and the wider team to follow the policy and guidance issued by EY MENA / Global.
  • Take a keen interest in the current documents review process, suggest improvements in the review and maintenance of Engagement Agreement/SOW/MSA or related document
  • Assist other team members and fiancé/Local and Statutory compliance team in performing their roles.
  • Other tasks, as directed by the Risk Management Team manager.

To qualify for the role, you must have


  • Previous experience working in similar field in in a sophisticated business environment particularly in relation to enhanced review and due diligence.
  • A high degree of competency in verifying different client types using publicly available resources and subscription services
  • Previous experience of working with wider teams.
  • Education to degree/master’s degree is mandatory
