Responsibilities:
The Road & Transportation Expert is responsible for the planning, design, analysis, construction supervision, and optimization of road and transportation systems. The position ensures safe, efficient, and sustainable movement of people and goods through technically sound road engineering and data-driven transportation planning.

• Conduct feasibility studies and route alignment analysis for road and highway projects
• Analyze traffic data and develop traffic demand models
• Plan road networks, interchanges, and intersection improvements
• Perform geometric design of roads including horizontal and vertical alignments
• Design pavement structures (rigid and flexible) based on traffic and soil conditions
• Design drainage systems, culverts, and stormwater management structures
• Prepare construction drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs
• Supervise construction of road works including subgrade, sub-base, base, and asphalt layers
• Ensure compliance with design standards (AASHTO, ACI, ASTM, BS, NHA, etc.)
• Review test results from laboratories and verify material quality
• Suggest and implement pavement rehabilitation and maintenance techniques
• Perform traffic impact assessments (TIA) for new developments
• Develop transport master plans and mobility plans
• Recommend public transport improvements and route optimization
• Coordinate with surveyors, planners, contractors, and authorities
• Provide technical support to project management team
• Monitor progress, schedule, and budget
• Attend client and stakeholder meetings

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in road and transportation projects
