About Pavago
Pavago is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our client’s team. This role is essential for driving business growth by identifying and qualifying potential leads within the insurance industry through various outreach channels. Your primary focus will be prospecting, cold calling, and collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to execute targeted lead-generation campaigns. Experience in the insurance sector is preferred, as you will engage with potential clients, understand their challenges, and provide solutions that align with the industry’s specific needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Conduct outbound cold calling, cold emailing, and LinkedIn messaging to identify new business opportunities.
- Call Management: Make daily outbound calls, address client concerns, and maintain engagement throughout the sales cycle. Implement structured follow-ups to maximize lead conversion.
- Pipeline Management: Track and manage both inbound and outbound leads using HubSpot CRM, ensuring timely follow-ups and consistent progress through the sales cycle.
- Lead Qualification: Assess leads based on their needs and readiness for insurance-related services, collaborating with the sales team to refine prospects.
- Follow-ups and Coordination: Assist in post-walkthrough follow-ups, maintaining regular communication with potential clients and guiding them through the next steps.
- Achieve Sales Metrics: Performance will be evaluated based on lead generation success and pipeline management effectiveness. Metrics include the number of new leads generated and the conversion rate of inbound leads.
- Collaboration with Sales Team: Work closely with senior sales staff on proposal development, pricing discussions, contract management, and client communication.

- Insurance Industry Experience (Preferred): Familiarity with insurance products and services is a plus, helping you better understand client needs and industry-specific challenges.

Required Skills & Tools
- Sales Tools: Experience with Discord is preferred, though training will be provided if needed.
- Communication: Ability to engage with prospects through cold calling, email, and LinkedIn messaging.
- Lead Generation: Prior experience in prospecting and lead generation is a plus but not required.
- Time Management: Ability to efficiently juggle multiple leads and tasks, prioritizing activities to meet targets.
What Does a Typical Day Look Like?
As an SDR, your day will revolve around prospecting, engaging inbound leads, and managing the sales pipeline. Your primary responsibilities will include cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn engagement. You’ll also work closely with the sales team to schedule meetings, manage follow-ups, and guide prospects through the sales cycle. Over time, you’ll have the opportunity to take on more responsibility, including closing smaller deals independently.
