Sales Development Representative (Healthcare)

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and persuasive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to identify, engage, and qualify healthcare prospects. Your primary responsibility will be to generate interest, build relationships with potential clients, and schedule meetings for our senior sales team. You will play a crucial role in expanding our RCM services to medical practices, billing companies, and physician groups across the U.S.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate qualified leads
  • Engage healthcare providers, medical billers, and practice managers to introduce CedarRCM’s services
  • Qualify leads using BANT/CHAMP or similar frameworks
  • Set up discovery calls or demos with senior sales executives
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM (e.g., Close CRM or HubSpot)
  • Follow up on inbound leads and nurture cold prospects
  • Collaborate with marketing to align messaging and outreach strategy
  • Provide feedback to improve pitch decks, email templates, and call scripts
  • Attend weekly pipeline reviews and contribute to outreach KPIs


Requirement:

  • Experience with healthcare or medical clients strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance is a plus
  • Experience in a sales, appointment setting, or telemarketing role (preferably B2B)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Comfortable making 50+ cold calls per day and handling objections confidently
  • Prior experience in RCM, healthcare, medical billing, or insurance is a strong plus
  • Proficient in CRM software, Google Workspace, and communication tools
  • Self-starter mindset with a passion for healthcare innovation and revenue solutions
