Job Overview

We are seeking a Sales Engineer with 4–6 years of relevant experience to join our Digital Factory Solutions Department in Karachi. This role will focus on sales and business development for automation projects, system integration, PLC/DCS/SCADA solutions, Track & Trace systems, Cybersecurity, and Disaster Recovery solutions across industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will leverage technical expertise and strong sales skills to identify opportunities, develop tailored solutions, and achieve business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Market Development
  • Identify, engage, and develop new business opportunities across industries such as manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, textiles, water/wastewater, and energy.
  • Drive sales of automation projects, system integration, and digital factory solutions.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through effective account management.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine strategies.
  • Technical Consultation and Solution Selling
  • Provide technical expertise in automation systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA), Track & Trace, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Conduct product and solution presentations, demonstrations, and site visits.
  • Work closely with clients to design solutions aligned with their operational and safety requirements.
  • Proposal Development and Documentation
  • Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, and contracts in line with company standards and client specifications.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all sales documentation and client communication.
  • Customer Relationship Management & After-Sales Support
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Address post-sales inquiries, provide training, and offer technical support for delivered solutions.
  • Collaboration and Coordination
  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, logistics) to ensure timely project execution.
  • Share insights with regional sales and technical teams to align on project goals and client expectations.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
  • Experience: 4–6 years of technical sales/business development experience in automation projects, system integration, or industrial solutions.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of PLC/DCS/SCADA systems, Track & Trace, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery solutions
    • Proven sales and solution-selling expertise in the automation sector
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
    • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office
    • Ability to travel within Karachi for client engagement
