Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Scrum Master to lead Agile teams in delivering high-quality products efficiently. The Scrum Master will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, foster collaboration, and ensure adherence to Agile principles. The ideal candidate should guide teams toward continuous improvement and delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide and coach Agile teams on Agile (Scrum, Kanban) methodologies.
- Foster a culture of self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Lead end-to-end execution using Agile frameworks and train team members and stakeholders on Agile best practices.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure sprint goals are well-defined and achievable.
- Assist the Product Owner in backlog refinement and prioritization.
- Identify and remove obstacles that hinder team productivity.
- Manage product releases after consultation with different stakeholders
- Act as a bridge between teams, Product Owners, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure clear communication of progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Track sprint progress using Agile tools (e.g. Jira).
- Generate burndown charts and velocity reports for visibility.
- Ensure team commitments and deliverables align with business goals.
- Promote Agile best practices, innovation, and feedback culture.
- Drive the adoption of Agile metrics to optimize team efficiency.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- 7-12 years of experience in project management, preferably in Agile environments.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering Agile projects.
- Proven experience of planning and managing releases.
- Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and coaching skills.
- Proficiency in Agile tools and practices like Jira, Confluence
- Strong knowledge of DevOps, Configuration Management and Version Control systems (e.g. Git)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Preferred to have experience in scaling Agile frameworks (SoS, SAFe).
