As a Senior Scrum Master/PMO, you will serve as both an agile leader and project management office contributor, helping teams deliver value while establishing and maintaining project management best practices across the organization. You'll work closely with development teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership to ensure project success and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Scrum Master Duties

  • Facilitate Scrum events (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective)
  • Coach teams and organization in Agile/Scrum practices and principles
  • Remove impediments and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Support Product Owners in backlog refinement and management
  • Track and communicate team metrics and progress
  • Facilitate cross-team coordination and dependencies

PMO Duties

  • Develop and maintain project management methodologies, templates, and tools
  • Establish project governance frameworks and ensure compliance
  • Monitor project portfolio performance and report to leadership
  • Conduct project health checks and risk assessments
  • Maintain resource allocation and capacity planning
  • Support budget tracking and financial reporting
  • Facilitate project status meetings and steering committee reviews

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
  • 2+ years of PMO experience
  • Professional certifications required:
    • PSM (Professional Scrum Master) or CSM (Certified Scrum Master)
    • PMP (Project Management Professional)
    • SAFe certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and traditional project management methodologies
  • Experience with project management tools:
    • JIRA
    • Confluence
    • Microsoft Project
    • Azure DevOps
