Working with the MENA Assurance Operations Team, you will provide analysis & reporting to support leadership decisions. You will also carry out project management tasks for special projects that contribute to achievement of the business objectives.

The role will be based in our Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad centre of excellence and will support MENA Assurance leadership team.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Senior or Assistant Manager, you’ll likely balance your time between both project management and analytics. We’ll also look to you to support with reaching out to multiple people at all levels of the organization across geographies to gather required information as well as to create leadership presentations.

You will be responsible for working closely with leadership on deploying and executing strategy. You will act as business advisor to the leadership and lead ad-hoc strategic projects. You will conduct market analysis for tapping new markets & Insights, while conducting market activities and conducting the global EY network & assets to connect our clients to the right insights and thought leadership.

Moreover, you will provide insights and services that will accelerate analytics, decision-making and innovation to build a stronger and more efficient function while driving Brainstorming Strategy Session with leadership highlighting key issues and challenges.

Furthermore, you will also be identifying business issues and trends that translate into key market-facing opportunities which lead to business initiatives, market penetration strategies to analyse the market.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Strong data analytics and Excel skills (including complex pivot tables and charts). Knowledge of PBI will be a distinct advantage
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong creative mindset to make powerful MS PowerPoint presentations
• Ability to analyses and relate relevant information/data from multiple sources
• Ability to work with minimum supervision, multitask and work collaboratively with virtual teams
• The willingness to meet tight deadlines and work with flexibility

Ideally, you’ll have

• Bachelors or MBA in Economics or Finance
• Strong hold in conducting Market Research
• At least 5 years of proven work experience
• PMP certification can be an added advantage
• BIG 4, Industry or Business Consulting experience will be a distinct advantage
