Senior Accountant - (Chartered Accountant)

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our finance team. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in accounting, ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365), and international tax compliance, particularly in markets such as Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, UK, and the USA.

This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role critical to ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

General Ledger & Bookkeeping

• Maintain accurate financial records and timely transaction posting in Microsoft Dynamics ERP.
• Oversee daily entries: accounts payable, receivable, and journal vouchers.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and assist with month-end closings.
• Prepare and reconcile general and sub-ledgers.
• Ensure compliance with local standards and internal controls.

Project Accounting Support

• Track project budgets, expenses, and revenue recognition.
• Collaborate with project managers for cost allocation and billing milestones.
• Analyze project profitability and prepare project-level financial reports.
• Report variances against budgets and recommend corrective actions.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
• Assist with monthly management reports and variance analysis.
• Contribute to cash flow forecasting and working capital planning.
• Ensure data integrity through ERP-based financial reporting.

Taxation & Compliance

• Assist with preparation and filing of withholding tax, sales tax, and VAT returns.
• Support compliance with tax regulations in Pakistan and abroad (Saudi, UAE, etc.).
• Liaise with auditors and tax advisors for statutory filings.
• Maintain records for tax audits and legal compliance.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Chartered Accountant (CA) – qualified.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience (tech or consulting industry preferred).
• Proficient in ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Strong grasp of accounting principles, tax laws, and project-based financials.
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI or other reporting tools is a plus.
• Meticulous attention to detail and analytical problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills in English.
