Senior Assistant Engineer Condition Monitoring

Purpose

This role is responsible for maintaining all equipment and accessories (pertaining to his jurisdiction) in neat, clean and serviceablecondition. Carry out frequent survey of his area, monitor physical and operational conditions of the equipment and machinery and immediately intimate his superiors about any abnormality. Ensure punctuality, discipline and comply with all administrative instructions,rules and regulations. These responsibilities are carried out WITH the objective to ensure maximum usability of the equipment to gain maximum output to meet performance targets WITHIN the limits of organization’s established SOP’s and policies, departmental objectives, organization’s HSEQ guidelines, quality assurance guidelines, EHS standards and directions/guidelines from supervisor.

Education (Mandatory)

At least diploma holder in Electrical Technology

Trainings & Certifications (Mandatory)

• Possess good knowledge of electrical safety, electrical
• equipment and must be confidently familiar with the use of
• electrical testing, monitoring and measuring equipment/tool.
• ¾ Should be familiar with general safety rules and regulation.
• ¾ Must have proficiency with Computer knowledge such as Microsoft Office.
  
  

Years Of Experience

Minimum 8 years experience of working in electrical maintenance section of power plant/fertilizer/oil sector in capacity of Electrical Technician or equivalent.

1 Health & Safety, Environment and Quality Management (7%)

• Work as a custodian of safety rules.
• Comply with all safety norms and regulations set by the company and ensure implementation of standards for maximum safety during course of his work.
• Ensure proper risk analysis and participate in tool box talk with team members before starting the work.
• Before taking work permits, shall personally ensure that all required isolations are done.
  
  

2 Administration 3%

• Ensure timely execution of PMs as per maintenance plan.
• Maintain record of all maintenance and service activities on daily basis in readily presentable format.
• Extend support, guidance and training (wherever possible) to colleagues and newcomers for technical development.
  
  

3 Plant Maintenance (90%)

• Follow maintenance manuals, procedures, F&ID, schematic drawings for accomplishment of safe and quality workmanship to avoid rework and give recommendations for improvements.
• Ensure safety, quality of work, schedule control and maintain housekeeping during performance of maintenance activities.
• Maintain housekeeping in the plant and participate in housekeeping walk.
• Before taking work permits, shall personally ensure that all required isolations are done.
• Perform any task assigned by the plant management pertaining to the functions of the power plant.
