Senior Automated Tester

Location: Lahore, Pakistan

Working Hours: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM PKT

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automated Tester with a minimum of 5 years of experience in full-stack development, specifically with a solid background in MERN and MEAN stacks. The ideal candidate will focus on automating applications with a strong emphasis on APIs, enhancing our testing processes, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed test plans to automate applications, prioritizing API testing.
• Implement and maintain automated tests and continuous automation execution using tools such as GitHub, TypeScript, Playwright, K6, WebdriverIO (wdio), Appium, and Directus.
• Develop and improve automation frameworks in accordance with the approved MTN Software Solutions testing framework.
• Collaborate with other teams to discuss automation requirements and propose solutions for end-to-end (E2E) automation based on new features, services, products, and environments.
• Analyze and troubleshoot automation issues, ensuring timely resolutions.
• Provide troubleshooting assistance and oversight to the larger team, promoting a culture of quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Strong experience in full-stack development with MERN and MEAN technologies.
• Proficient in scripting languages and test automation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is a plus.
