Senior Consultant DevOps

Position: Senior DevOps/SRE (Site Reliability Engineer)

Location: Pakistan

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters for scalable and resilient container orchestration.
• Implement best practices for containerization, microservices architecture, and container security.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated builds, tests, and deployments.
• Implement continuous integration and delivery processes to streamline software delivery.
• Integrate security tools within CI/CD workflows to enable DevSecOps practices.
• Utilize Helm/ArgoCD for Kubernetes application packaging, deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Manage Helm charts and GitOps workflows for declarative application delivery.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for automated provisioning and configuration management.
• Ensure infrastructure scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Implement configuration management using Ansible.
• Implement and maintain monitoring solutions like Prometheus and Grafana for real-time system performance visibility.
• Configure and manage logging aggregation using the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) on Kubernetes.
• Work with multiple cloud platforms, including OCI, OpenStack, AWS, and OpenShift.
• Design and optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash and Python for various operational tasks.
• Enhance system efficiency through scripting and automation.
• Administer and optimize managed databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Cassandra.
• Ensure high availability, data integrity, and performance tuning of databases.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Senior DevOps/SRE with expertise in Kubernetes, CI/CD, Helm/ArgoCD, Ansible/Terraform, monitoring, logging, cloud platforms, scripting, and managed databases.
• In-depth knowledge of container orchestration, microservices architecture, and best practices.
• Strong expertise in Jenkins, Helm, ArgoCD, Ansible, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack, and cloud services.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
• Experience with multiple cloud platforms, including Alibaba Cloud, OpenStack, and OpenShift (OCI, GCP, or Azure is a plus).
• Hands-on experience with managed databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Cassandra.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, collaboration, and communication abilities.
