Senior Database Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Developer with expertise in SQL Server, ClickHouse, Apache Spark, SSIS, Java, and Python to design, develop, and optimize scalable database solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building data pipelines, improving data performance, and supporting business intelligence and analytics requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain relational and distributed databases (SQL Server, ClickHouse).
• Build and optimize ETL processes using SSIS, Apache Spark, and other modern data tools.
• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Integrate databases with backend systems using Java and Python.
• Ensure database performance, scalability, and high availability across environments.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and application developers to deliver efficient data solutions.
• Implement best practices for database security, backup, and recovery.
• Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot issues related to data processing and transformations.
• Support data migration and integration initiatives between on-premise and cloud environments.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Database Developer or Data Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server and ClickHouse database systems.
• Experience with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.
• Proficiency in SSIS for ETL and data workflow automation.
• Working knowledge of Java and Python for data manipulation and integration.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, normalization, and database design principles.
• Familiarity with performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of CI/CD for data deployments.
• Exposure to NoSQL or time-series databases.
