Your Role In Driving Proposals And Technical Sales
As a Senior Design & Proposal Engineer at Avanceon, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing technically compliant and cost-effective proposals specifically for the Middle East Regions.
- Leveraging your experience in automation and high-level SCADA systems with a deep understanding of the entirety of the proposal process, including the integration of subcontractors and systems.
- Exhibiting a strong commercial presence with the ability to influence and maneuver key stakeholders, and working effectively with international teams to drive customer-centric solutions and manage day-to-day departmental matters.
- Focusing on improving sales team effectiveness, adding value by supporting international technical teams, and developing integrated systems and tools.
- Aligning the team with all internal key stakeholders and ensuring task completion within agreed timelines.
- Strategizing effectively during the pre-sales cycle to mitigate risks and minimize the impact on project execution.
- Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures relating to business conduct, and meeting all OEM ethical & legal standards with regards to commercial processes.
- Responsibly executing all international bids and proposals while minimizing risk in all outgoing bids.
- Proposing Turn-Key solutions (Industrial Automation).
- Collaborating with global OEMs to proactively track Capex programs and guarantee user specifications.
- Leading the effort for detailed Capex/Sales plans related to automation solutions and services.
- Analyzing key accounts, developing penetration strategies, and executing tactics to increase market share.
- Diagnosing, documenting, and solving customer problems with seamless solutions, extracting and validating actual solutions with value delivered, and paving the way for value propositions.
- Understanding contractual terms & conditions and effectively negotiating with customers.
- B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering.
- 4-6 years of Proposal Development Experience, Industrial Automation, power control, or related industry experience.
- An estimation background in any Electrical, Instrumentation, and Process control entity.
- Fluency in both written and verbal English.
- Proven experience in customer interaction.
- Strong business writing and communications skills.
- Possess a high level of commercial awareness.
- Strong desire to provide a high level of support and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships tactfully and efficiently.
- Strong analytical skills to make informed decisions and guide the team through the decision-making process to achieve business targets.
