Job Description
Use Business Intelligence and Data warehousing concepts and methodologies for augmenting
business decisions.
Define and deliver the ETL Architecture.
An excellent communicator, he/ she would estimate efforts, prepare High and Low-level design
documents and develop code within the agreed timelines.
Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that
optimize statistical efficiency and quality
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Filter and clean data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to
locate and correct code problems
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Personal Qualities
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant
amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyFunctional Skills and Experiences
Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
Experience specifically loading data into the data warehouse
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and
segmentation techniques
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
6+ years of experience in an ETL data warehouse environment helping with troubleshooting and ETL
performance modification
Technical Skills And Experiences
Strong knowledge of writing complex queries and developing complex ETL mappings on RDBMS, Flat
file, XML File and JSON
Stong programming skills, relational database skills with expertise in Advanced SQL, PLSQL Etc
Experience using ETL tools like Pentaho Data Integration, Talend, Informatica etc.
Knowledge of statistics and any reporting tool will be an added advantage.
Exposure to AWS Cloud features like S3, EC2 is a Plus
