The Role:
As a Software Engineer (Web), you will play a key role in building and maintaining responsive, performant web applications using ReactJS and Next.js. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth, user-friendly web experience. You’ll focus on creating engaging, high-quality applications that work across devices and contribute to Wego’s SEO strategy.

This role includes collaborating with teams, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining high code quality through automated testing and code reviews.

- Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive web applications using ReactJS and Next.js.
- Use Next.js for server-side rendering to improve SEO and user experience.
- Work with JavaScript, CSS, TypeScript, and tools like webpack for asset optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, focusing on user-centric solutions.
- Maintain software quality with automated testing and code reviews.
Minimum Experience:
- 2+ years in software development, with a focus on front-end web technologies.
- Strong foundation in ReactJS and experience with Next.js.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, TypeScript, and familiarity with webpack.
- Understanding of Progressive Web Apps (PWA) principles.
- Ability to communicate effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Experience with static site generation and server-side rendering in Next.js.
- Background in the Travel Tech industry or similar product-focused environment.
- Knowledge of TypeScript for enhanced development stability.
- Familiarity with Docker, AWS, and CI/CD practices.
