Senior Frontend Engineer

Scope:

Our technology client is looking to hire senior frontend engineers who will be responsible for developing and maintaining user-facing features that provide seamless and engaging experiences for the clients. This role involves close collaboration with backend engineers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to ensure the successful delivery of tailored banking solutions. Candidate will play a crucial role in deploying Core Banking Solutions for the clients.

Job Duties:

• Develop new user-facing features using React.js
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Work with product management and UI/UX designers to implement new features and optimise existing ones
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
• Stayup-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+years of experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on React.js
• Proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Experience with popular React.js workflows
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and web performance optimization
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
