Senior GRC Manager

Role Purpose:

As a Senior GRC Manager you Lead the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) function for a rapidly growing fintech company, ensuring regulatory compliance, risk management, and robust governance frameworks.

Job duties and Responsibilities:

Governance

• Design and implement GRC frameworks aligned with industry standards.
• Lead governance committees and working groups.
• Develop and maintain GRC policies and procedures.
• Report to Board and executive management on GRC matters.

Risk Management

• Oversee enterprise risk management program.
• Lead risk assessments and control evaluations.
• Design and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
• Manage fraud risk monitoring and controls.
• Oversee vendor risk management program.

Compliance

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations (PSD2, BSA/AML, state money transmitter laws).
• Manage regulatory examinations and audits.
• Oversee regulatory change management.
• Design and implement compliance testing programs.
• Lead regulatory reporting initiatives.

Program Management

• Manage GRC team.
• Oversee GRC technology platforms.
• Coordinate with internal/external auditors.
• Lead training and awareness programs.
• Manage GRC budget and resources.

Requirements:

• 8+ years GRC experience in financial services/fintech.
• Deep knowledge of financial regulations and frameworks.
• Experience with fraud risk management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Advanced degree in relevant field (Business, Finance, Law).
• Professional certifications (CAMS, CISA, CRISC, or equivalent).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with mobile payment platforms.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies (blockchain, AI).
• International regulatory experience.
• Previous startup experience.
• Project management certification.
