Senior PHP Developer

As a Senior PHP Developer at Dukan, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing scalable web applications that deliver a high-performance and responsive user experience. This position requires extensive knowledge of PHP and MySQL, along with a variety of front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and frameworks like Laravel and CodeIgniter. While managing a team is not part of this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to gather requirements and create user-friendly applications that meet client expectations. Your expertise will also help in implementing best coding practices and optimizing existing code to ensure maintainability and performance across projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable web applications using PHP and MySQL, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Create and maintain robust backend components and APIs that seamlessly integrate with front-end frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to gather requirements and create user-friendly applications.
• Implement best coding practices and participate in code reviews to ensure quality and security of the code base.
• Refactor and optimize existing code to improve maintainability and enhance application performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues proactively to minimize downtime and deliver a seamless user experience.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends and apply this knowledge to drive innovation in the application design.
• Document the development process, including API usage, architectural decisions, and any relevant technical specifications to facilitate team knowledge sharing.
• Integrate third-party services and payment gateways as necessary to enhance application functionality and user engagement.
